WoW from external driveFollow

I am on the go quite a bit, and stay with friends often, usually I have no problem just connecting to their wireless network with my laptop and playing, but some of my friends do not have wireless networks. I have been checking out the various external hard drives to see how feasible installing WoW on one of them and using it as a virtual desktop environment to play WoW would be. Right now I am using a Sandisk cruzer micro with U3 launchpad to post this as I am at work(they issue them to all the officers in case they have to use a public computer for reports/work related items). I have the jist of how they work, I am just not sure if there would be any problems with speed or anything, they are 7200 rpm drives. Mainly I have been checking out the Seagate Freeagent drives: http://www.seagate.com/freeagent/

I know of security problems that may arise, mainly with possibilities of keyloggers, but it is a lot quicker to run some quick spyware/virus scans then load the entire WoW game from the interwebs...

anyone see any problems with this?
