Uninstalling FirefoxFollow

#1 Aug 03 2007 at 3:50 AM Rating: Good
My firefox has been acting real buggy lately. I tried uninstalling it and re-installing it, and not only did I get the same problem, but all of my history, add ons, etc were still around.

Does anyone know how to completely uninstall this program so that I can start from scratch?

You're retarded.

You'll want to clear your Mozilla profile. Just delete the folder that contains it and when you restart FX a new profile will be made.

Paths are here: http://www.mozilla.org/support/firefox/profile

Thanks. It didn't fix anything, so I'm guessing I have a problem elsewhere.

I might just fdisk after all. (I'm finding other problems. Idiot roomate doesn't know how to use the internets, I suppose.)

Really? That didn't do it? I know for a fact history and the like is stored in the profile. Make sure you're deleting the right thing.
