Looking to get new laptop for ffxi

I am currently looking to buy an HP Pavilion HDX Entertainment Notebook PC with a 512MB ATI Mobility Radeon HD 2600 XT. Has anyone had any experience with this graphics card/Laptop, and if so, does it work out of the box, or do I need to tweak it to get it to work with FFXI.

Any help would be much appriaciated.

if i was you I would check out forums about your video card first. i just got a HP
Pavilion 9500 with the geforce 8600M GS in it. there is 0 driver support for this mobile video card to play ffxi. right now i cant get over 14fps in all areas and hit 4-6 in port windy at the MH. :( but good luck with it

Yea, I know about the Geforce 8x00, I have seen quite a few threads about people scrapping there desktop 8x00 and purchasing ATI cards, even on forums @ nvidia.com. That is the main reason why I am not going to wait for the Dell M1730, because of the Nvidia 8x00 card...
