Problem running FFXI on PC (was forum=28)Follow
So I installed FFXI on my computer, and every time I log on and try to run the game it crashes on me. My cousin who works for a computer company took a look at it and we figured out my computer meets or surpasses all of the minimum requirements to run it. The game gets about as far as the character selection menu where it switches to fullscreen, then the window starts to show up and everything shuts down on me. Anyone know how to correct this?
1) Return the system to the store
2) Buy a Wii

Your hard drive must have dried out. Open the case and pour some cool (not cold) water in and you should be fine.
This is the wrong forum. Post your question here. Are you sure your computer has downloaded all the updates, graphics card has a all the drivers you need for it. Are you using windower?
