How do I go about downgrading DX from 10, down to 9.0c.
Turns out the issue I have with EQII is that my V-card is upgraded to DX10, and EQII isn't supporting DX10 just yet. Source

There is no supported way to do this. DirectX is a one way install because it modifies core system files. The best option would be to restore to a system restore point prior to the directX upgrade, but even that can be shaky at best.

also if you are running DirectX 10 you are running Vista and as far as i know DX9c is not supported in Vista.
also the Dx10 page from MS does not provide any further information about if DX10 is available for XP or not.
as WoW does not support DX10 and that is one of the few games i play in windows i have not upgraded past 9c and do not plan to any time soon.
once more games support DX10 and i have a system powerful enough to take advantage of it if there becomes a XP release of 10, i will then think about the upgrade until then stick with XP and 9c.
