Castle Oztroja Coffer key hunt pleaseFollow

lol ... looks like you beat me to posting about this ... during the course of the week I should hit 57, so I'll also be wanting this key. So ofcourse, I'll join you in the hunt =). I find it funny that I may get my Castle Oztroja AF before my Garliage Citadel AF, but its all good.

Mornlithe!! We missed the AF hat run ... so we both gotta team up for that someday ... Aren't you happy I got you to be a RDM?? Its gettin to be so much fun ^.^b

Got my key Saturday. Somehow I got the first one that dropped, with 3 other people needing the key... and I only lotted 514 o.O

Of the 3 other people needing the key, 2 are from my LS. And the next 2 keys that dropped, they were able to win the lots for... even though by that 3rd key, we'd formed an alliance (just started as 1 6 man party) of even more people needing the key. By the time the 3rd dropped, I think there was something like 8 people still needing the key. Crazy stuff.

I dunno how long it went on, I warped back to Jeuno (to avoid the AoE damage) and went to get some food, was planning on going back out a bit later after I got back, to keep helping (not that at 52 I was doing much to help, other than refresh/haste/dispel... but there were about 5 other RDM's in the alliance doing the same things), got back and started up Dawn of War, and it killed FFXI (forgot that I hadn't logged out yet).

I volunteered to light the torch to open the door... unfortunately because I'd solo'd the last 600 or so xp to get to 52, I was only 13 xp into the level. Despite waiting around for about 10 minutes to find a clean opening to drop invis and light the torch, one of the bastards decided to start moving again while I was casting invis, and aggro'd. I died at the door, and lost my boots :-/ Got the level back about 3 hours later of killing these mobs for about 9 - 30xp each due a 70 thf that volunteered to help in the hunt, and later the full alliance.

The other RDM and DRK from my LS went back out today, and both got their AF. I went back out tonight, but got to the door with the 4 switches, and couldn't drop invis, because the two yag's next to it were still EP within aggro level. I could've solo'd them, but didn't want to chance it, being currently only 27xp or so into 52, and 3 other Too Weak yags' that had crossed the bridge with me, and were hanging out possibly within range to link. I guess I'll either wait until the ones at the door are Too Weak as well, or have my 60 RDM friend (the one that just got his body with the DRK today) open that door for me so I can start my coffer hunt.

I've been dreading this coffer since I started RDM. I'm even contemplating just camping the room we fought in for the keys, behind the door, and just waiting for the coffer to pop in there. I've got my trade macro, and my Chainspell+Warp macro's ready to go though, just incase I happen to see it outside that room.

Oh how i dread to walk in castle oztroja. Be aware thiefs play dirty there. As that is where astral ring is found. So my hint to you mornlithe DO NOT HESITATE FOR ONE SECOND TO OPEN A TREASURE CHEST!. Or a thief will flee to the chest pick it and its done. I swear you gotta be fast. Oh you yeah watch out for samsang another gil farming selling ******* that resides in oztroja just be fast!
