I just wanted to thank you all for the info you provide on this board. I am still learning this game, and sometimes have quite a tough time with things. I love this game and want to take it all the way, but there is so much to do, and so much to learn!

So far I have partied in the Dunes, QuFim (sp?), and Kazham. Out of all of that, I have had maybe 2 decent parties that stayed together for more than an hour. I have given up on parties all together until I read the posts this morning. I might try it again. Sooner or later I just might see what a real party is supposed to be like.

So far I have tried RDM (28), BLM (7), WAR (8), and THF (14). I hope to try them all, and BRD was next on my list--another cooinkidink? You guys are better than you give yourselves credit for! LOL

I read this board every morning to learn more. I don't know what most of the abbreviations mean, but I am figuring some out from context. If I should ever run into any of you in action, please teach me! I want to be a good player, and you guys sound like you know what you are doing.

Thanks again for posting all of your insights, and know that all of your ranting/raving/carrying-on is helping at least one person I know of...

Good to know. You can learn a whole lot here, and I'm sure everyone learns something new all the time while reading the rants and what have you =)
I hope you have loads of success, and maybe we shall meet some day.

hopefully you find more friends, and have better parties... when you get one of those days where you are with a party for around 18 hours, that is when you make long time friends, me and Chris (Koolaid) were in a party for 18 hours and COMPLETELY bypassed Qufim =D it was great, you get to know people a lot when you do stuff like that, and you really enjoy it, and you can have a lot more fun with them later =P

I see your sub job for your RDM is either under lvled or not one of the traditional subjobs for RDM. BLM is one of the best subs for RMD so I suggest keeping that lvled. The reason for this you get a MP boost for every level, and seeing that you BLM is 7 lvls under the cap that is a huge chunk of MP that you could have but don't. I'm sorry if this comes off as rude but being a RNG I've paid over 100k for just 2 AGI (damn mage's cuffs probably like 20k now) so let me tell you that every single stat point counts, so why put yourself at a disadvantage. I see that you have a L14 THF that will come in handy when you get to L30 RDM. If you get THF to 15 and sub it for you RDM I'm sure you can bring the cash more easily for those expensive spells that you are going to have to buy in the future. If you choose another job after you hit 30 thats cool too just remember there are alot of people that are willing to help someone that is willing to learn. So, if you ever need some help with a quest or something I'd be more that willing to help, if I'm not doing something important. So happy gamming.

and always remember amongst all the madness of lvling, farming for gil, and creating a slew of new friends. Never forget to always adventure out on your own to see what vanadiel has to offer ^^

That was my plan! Not only will farming be more productive, but I can start taking on NM for profit.

Good idea. I will be working on that as soon as I am done with my THF.

I always like to see fresh blood. I'm glad you're having fun with the game thus far... why don't you try more melee jobs? Monk? Samurai? Maybe Ranger?

Trust me, one should not pass these up. :3

As much as everyone wants to not believe in the low levels, the entire game revolves around parties. Don't worry, stick it out for a few more levels and keep leveling RDM.

At 40 you'll be getting invites up the yin-yang. :P

Or you could always make it to 30, and unlike beastmaster and join a beastmaster linkshell. ^^ This pretty much elimates the wait for parties while still having fun. You can still join a party and nothing prevents a beastmaster from socializing.

We beasts like to stick together and help each other out. If you do decide on this path send me a tell in game. Other sack holders would be Octavious and Bishybob.
