This is not your usual rant about Dune's partys in fact just the opposite Dunes is always given the negative publicity so I thought I would post my positive experience. I just want to thank all those people who have made levelling my thief a great experience.
I have got my thief from lvl 9 - 16 in 2 days thanks to some excellant partys in the Dunes. I'm not going to try and name everyone as I'm bound to forget people but you all know who you are, so to all you who partyed with Jetta the THF the last coupl e of days thank you.

Eventually after so many rants about this place from the highlevels that return for their low level jobs, the place has more high levels than low levels. Lately I've not seen more than 5 new players there. And I was there from 10 to 20 for my War.
I really want to bring my WHM there. I'm sitting at 10 right now.
Perhaps I could convince a few people to lvl their lower jobs to form an experienced party so we could move on through.
I'm sure I could pursuade a few of my higher mage friends to tag along until I got the full hang of healing for a party. ^^

I just spent the last 2 playing sessions in the Dunes and finally found great parties as well! I hated to leave both, but RL comes first.
I had stated in a different thread that I had given up on parties, and you all encouraged me to keep trying. I just took my THF from 14 to 17 since yesterday! Thanks for the boost :-)
It may be noted that everyone in these two parties were lvlg their subs, and therefore were experienced party players...

I saw you out there last night Nyruu... I love going out there when I'm bored, to body guard some of the parties out there. People are going to zone gobs regardless, so I figure if I have extra time to kill while Im running through I hang out and clear the zones.
It's fun too because you always get hit up with questions, which I love doing my best to answer. ^^

Hey Mattea, I've got my BLM at 9 almost to 10. I need to get to 17 so I can warp ><. Let me know when you go and I'll join you if I can. I use SMN sub so that helps with the Elvaan MP Bonus. Plus I cook my own food and juices so I won't come naked with 20 mp. :-b Just let me know.
Just last week, i went to level my black mage with a few other people.

This is easily the best party in dunes i have ever had. I got from lvl 15 to 17 in about an hour or so. Our dmg literally kicked anything out of the sky and at lvl 15, we were taking on gobs that i normally wouldnt ever consider taking until 18.
I would just like to think the people who made this possible.
