Blech, I don't know if this was the best idea. History is bound to repeat itself =P
Ok, to set a few things straight...
Don't just jump on to see if anyone is on there, I've noticed (just today, since I posted my address) like five people jump on and back off within 5 seconds. Think about it... if everybody did that, what are the chances of anybody ever chatting? So, if you're gonna jump on the server, at least hang out for a couple minutes.
Teamspeak, for anyone who doesn't know is a CB-like program useful for online gaming. A server has to be run on a computer somewhere so that people with the client program can connect to it. I am running such a server (address 68.113.46.124) on my computer. Go to www.teamspeak.org and get the client program to connect. Basically, everyone on the server can hear each other.
And yes, by the way, it can be a pain in the *** if everybody tries to talk at once. That's why I compare the program to CB (citizen's band radio). However, there are options in the client program to set separate keys for whispering to specific players/members on the server. (You'll have to check that out on your own.) But it's really not so bad as long as nobody's trying to rap all the time (we miss you Thuglife.)
Hope that clears everything up and I hope to talk to some cool people, not like those douche-bags today that LEFT THE SERVER ONCE MAINTENANCE WAS DONE! (Does that make any sense at all?)
(Also, please understand there was no offense intended to said douche-bags, after all I address my best friend as such all the time.)
Ok, buhbye!
