That's exactly what I've been thinking. My Ukon WAR friend swears that the set bonus kicks in way more than people are reporting, but I'm not seeing it proc any more often than my other jobs' sets are (about 5% with another 1% added per accumulated piece).

No, the proc rate on it is just as terrible as the others. Since I got my Zelus Tiara I've been using the basic Tiara for head, Ravager's +2 for the other primary armor slots (body, hands, legs, and feet) and I've seen the set bonus proc maybe thirty times at most in a situation where I know that it could have only been the set bonus (he might accidentally be factoring in the aftermath from Ukon).

Sorry, small nitpick but +2 body extends it to 60 seconds, not 90. Unless wiki is wrong but it always seemed like 60 seconds to me.
Had a huge noob moment last night. Went to duo Yaanei with a friend as mnk/war (me) and whm for Aias Bonnets. First fight we go in and the blue proc is H2H and proceed to proc it pretty quick and destroy him. I was very shocked at how incredibly easy he actually was. So we get the drop and I get the bonnet and we decide to come back next blunt for his bonnet.
So along comes next blunt, we climb the mountain and I get that staff is the proc. I only have 208ish staff so I knew that I didn't have all the procs myself, but the whm has the ones I am missing so really just hoping its me so its easy. I go through the WS's I had and its not them. So I switch back to H2H to whittle it down while he attempts to proc. He tries his WS's and it doesn't work so we are thinking "wtf!?". We then proceed to try again with them and realize that we didn't try Heavy Swing. I, for some reason, did not notice it on my list and assumed it was one of the WS's I did not have. The whm tries getting tp to try again but at this point Yaanei has like 5% health and starts spamming Besieger's Bane. We both die with it at 1% before we could proc blue. The whm gets up and tries to holy it and gets killed before it could go off and I get up, hit it once for 150 damage and it dies. No drop.
Long story short I didn't realize that the first freaking staff WS you get was a blue proc WS. I am a noob!

Been leveling one of my mules to re-quest all the teleport scrolls I sold back in the day. I want to level WHM after I'm done with PLD. Not gonna pay 200k+ each. The only one I don't think I can quest with my mule at this point is Recall-Jugner, so I'm going to sneak him down to Norg & quest Utsusemi: Ichi to sell.

WHM burn parties are actually pretty fun since the introduction of Afflatus and Auspice.

I'll probably level PUP....right after my BRD reaches 99. I dunno, just compared to MNK for me, PUP seems meh...perhaps I'm just looking at it wrong?
FYI and for perspective, I ONLY lvl'd BRD for yellow procs. Eventually I'll get all my jobs to 99...if other MMOs don't suck me in first...
