M Night hasn't made a good movie since Sixth Sense, this should be of no surprise.
And apparently that was just a ripoff of an episode of "Are You Afraid of the Dark".
Edit: To be fair, the RT community seems to have given it a 76% so far. It could still be enjoyable, and I can't say I take what "critics" say very seriously.

Which came first, Sixth Sense or Signs? Cause I thought Signs was pretty good.

I typically think RT has pretty good sense when it comes to movie reviews... but this might be a cult-type film? Obviously if you haven't watched the series you may not like it as much, but it sounds from reading some of the critics' reviews that some of them had seen it, so idk. I already have my tickets so I will be seeing it regardless.
