Samurai HelpFollow

Hello Shiva. This is a modest request for help from a level 66 Samurai. I spent all day yesterday farming my Samurai Testimony and when it finall dropped, I paniced in my Maat fight and blew my shot. In all honesty, I farmed the testimony for 11 hours seeing the other samurai in my group get theirs and leave long before me. When I finally got it, I went down to jeuno, prepped for the fight and headed to Ru'lude Gardens. Inside I just blew it. The fight only lasted about 40 seconds and I knew it was over in the first 15. This time is not including waiting for the meditate timer to reset, etc. If anyone can help me get a new Testimony in the coming week, I would be extremely grateful. It drops off Blood Demons in Castle Zvahl, which aren't too bad (lvl 64-66) or Gore Demons and Templar Yagudo, which are much tougher. I'm free at any time, especially if any one can help and gives me a specific time. I watched some videos of Samurai Maat fights and read a few alternate strategies and really think I can handle this the next time I go in. So {help me out!} Shiva. Consider it a Christmas gift from the server cause all I want right now is to beat that old man.

Yeah, Gore Demons do drop em, but so do Blood Demons which are lvl 64-66 whereas Gore Demons are 72-74. The difference being Blood are EP to low DC to me at 66 and Gore are VT. Believe me every time a blood demon popped and I crossed my fingers for my stupid test, 50% of the time it was a coffer key, which I no longer need, having already gotten my coffer as a paladin.
In order to get my testimony off the Blood Demons I need another DD in the 60's, and a high level healer, or a high job capable of soloing, like rdm/nin, nin/war or bst/nin. The Gore Demons, however, gave a 75 bst/nin a litle bit of trouble solo. So I guess if I got enough help, sure, I'd go after Gore Demons and if you needed a drop from them you'd be welcome to come along. In the meantime, the help offered by the 75 whm sounds like it might work. I think that with the help of one of my ls mates we'd have enough DD that if you were doing buffs and healing we'd have no problems. On the other hand, if I can convince my friend to bring his 75 rdm the TH your thf would offer would be a big help. These testimony's are a pain in the ***. I'll be sure to give you a tell in game and we'll see what we can do. Thanks for your offers.

Maat gets the same stats as we do though and 95% of the people I've spoken to fought him at 66-67. I had the fight, but had a typo in one of my macros. I made it right before the fight. When I went in and opened with a WS from meditate and then my 2 hour everything was looking good. Maat 2 houred and my blink band took the first shot. I was able to get up third eye in time to absorb the third, but my item macro was spelled wrong and as soon as I hit it and saw how I'd spelled it, I knew I was about to get toasted. I went into my menu and tried to use it manually, but without it macro'd I couldn't do it quick enough, by the time my Icarus wing was activated, I needed to med up from all the hits I'd taken in the lost time, and I spent the rest of the fight trying to get enough potions down to actually use the WS. Maat was at 10-15% Hp.
