Well, as a member of the pagan community, and a male witch, I know for sure that the term warlock is not an acceptable thing to call anyone

As a solitary practicing Pagan, I choose the meaning of the name I was given by a friend. If you choose to take the meaning of warlock as evil, then please do so, but do not condemn me for your interpretation. Thank you.

Yeah, commonly the term warlock is used to denote male witch, but a true male witch (Wiccan) will never refer to himself as a warlock. I think warlock also carries a connotation of working for evil, even more so than "witch" might be thought of as evil.
A true male witch is free to call himself what he wishes. See above comments, thank you.
As with many things in life, words change meaning constantly. Icons are used for one purpose in one century and in the next conotate something entirely different.
If you choose to believe me evil, so be it. It doesn't change who I am or what I am. Good done in the name of evil is good. Evil done in the name of Good is still Evil. Good and evil both are required in this world for balance. I am what I am, and that's all that I am.
