Ive been playing for about 6-8 monthes and dont have a ton of time (3 or 4 hours a week at best), and its really hard to try to get a party together and to do anything productive with it in the limited time i have to play. So, if anyone has (or wants to start) a low-level static to play 1 or 2 hours a night a couple nights a week, thatd be great. my email (and aim) is iiithecaptainiii@aol.com and my char's name is jebedia. just incase you want to know i (think) its lvl 19 WAR, 18 BLM, 9 RDM, 6 or 7 MNK and 4 or 5 WHM. Basically, id like the static to be mostly for leveling. So if you wana start one or if you dont mind inviting me to yours, please hit me up ingame, (or more likely) on thease very forums or aim or something.

p.s. i dont really know much about the practicality of statics (like, if you make an ls for them or just contact each other b4 playing or what ever).

just dropped by to ask, which of those jobs would you want to lvl the most? if you want, i have a lvl 10 thf and 12 nin to join your static if you want. and what timezone are you in?
Not interested but thought I would give you some suggestions since I tried this once before.
Make a set time and make sure people understand time zone differences. Every static I've ever done met once or twice and then at least one person would say "You know this time really doesn't work for me can we do something else" People will agree to a time to get into a static than after a few meetings share with you that they really can't make that time regularly.

To dragonaeres and dalcier: I'm interested in taking rdm (which is now lvl 10) to 15 or 16, then switching to blm (subbing rdm), so the job switch would probobly not make leveling harder. currently the jobs im looking for are 1-2 dds (mnk, blm, drk etc.) 1-2 tanks of some sort (nins, plds, war etc), possibly a cor or brd or something. Im in eastern standard time. If your interested, if you see me in-game please send me a tell or just messege me on thease forums or at my email or aim (which i think i put in my first post).

hopefully the time zones will add up, i'm in GMT(UTC)+8, and maybe we could static in the weekend?
most of my jobs are all pretty low, so i can lvl them up to 10 if you can't find any takers. other then my nin and thf, if you want i can lvl pld up to 10 if a tank is needed. but i won't have many subjobs available for that.. only perhaps a war 10, which will only bring it up to 20 >.<

i wouldn't mind doing pld, but the problem would be the subjob.. as i don't have any higher lvl melee subjob, when the static reaches 20+, i'll have a problem with a underlvl-ed sub..

I think more of the isues is the 13 hour time difference. With subjibs, dill doesn't have much leveled either, so it will probably take him time as well. We can always work that out down the line. Both of you will have to do limit breaks and other things as well that i'd have to wait for anyway. Scheduling, as I see it, is going to be the monster.
I am currently rebuilding my account. I won't be able to team up this weekend, and maybe not til next weekend, but I'd like to get a hold on hours of availability. My char name is Aresfury. If you see me on w/o a bazaar coment (bizarre is different cuz sometimes I'm nutty), send a /tell. If I have a bazaar comment up, you can bet I am afk.

yea, the 13 hour difference is gonna be hard. we're doing this on the weekend right? so which timing would be best? sat/sun, morn/night that kind of thing, for me..

one of my ls member recommended that it's good to have 2-4 people in the static and invite the remaining people on the spot. plus that timing is peak timing for NA players if i'm not wrong.. so should be easy to get the rest of the party?

my plan with the sub was to bring rdm to 15 or 20 then switch to blm/rdm. untill then, i can use rdm/whm or /blm. sunday at 8 pm sounds like it would work for me, so scheduling may be easier then expected. if you see me in-game feel free to send me a /tell. the getting 3 or 4 people together and inviting others on the spot idea may work as well.

sorry i havent played ffxi much in the past few weeks (midterm week at school AND had a project due in the research class im taking). i actually am going to log on right now and decided to check this forum before i did. if your still interested, id like to find a few more people to do it. the time difference may be very hard though.

haha don't worry about it. i don't log on during weekdays anyway, only weekends. Besides, on weekends, the time difference is easier to handle. Like my morning is your night and your night is my morning, so those two would probably be the best timings.

I'm interested in this, i have a 16 BLU for DDing, a WAR in that area (16-18 i forget), a 21 DRK for if when we get there if it works better, and almost every other job is around 11 exept for THF (50) and NIN(25). Just send me a tell in the game, Elvaan named Sobek, or send me a PM.

I'm in US Central (-6). I want to get BLU up, but if my DRK at 21 is better, I'll switch to that. Up to 16 (my BLU's lvl) I'll fill any role you need.

i personally would prefer you use the drk dallas just because i recently lvled up my blm a bit (21 w00t) and it would be better exping, but once i lvl my rdm up a good bit (from 10 to 15) if you wana do your blu and dalcier has a char of that lvl ill work on bringing rdm up a ways (i need to anyway once i 22 blm).
also dalcier, i havent heard from ares. I could do your sunday morning, but id much rather do my friday night (i guess that would be your saturday morning) around 10 or 11 if that would work?

I'm just fine using my DRK, and anything saturday morning works for me. I cant wait to get into this!

Im sorry i cant do this saturday (going and getting a new guitar), can you guys do this sunday at around 10 EST to around 12 or 1 EST if thats ok. I think the easiest way to do this pt would be to create a ls for the ppl involved (if theres a way to make us all um, whatever the word for being head of a ls is) and just post messages on when to log in and what not (either in addition or instead of doing it here).
