Hi, thanks for responding. You can buy World Passes from Kachada in Port Bastok (J-6), Ambleon in Port San d'Oria (J-10), or Gamimi in Heaven's Tower in Windurst (no <pos> but he's behind a big counter with an open book in front of him). This link wiki.ffxiclopedia.org/World_pass can tell you more.

if you didn't buy the game again, (I.E. new serial numbers) a Gold World Pass won't apply.
infact if you create a character, then delete it right away and make another using a Gold World Pass,,,,, it doesn't apply.
