Hey people, I just picked up FFXI after quitting WoW, Lineage 2 and Ragnarok. I heard FFXI will keep me playing so long that it will take an eternity to reach end game, which I like the idea of :D
Anyway, since I have just started I was wondering wether anyone would be kind enough to invite me into their LS or even offer spare gil to help me get started :D I know this sounds extremeley cheeky, but I'm just asking for a little help. I understand if you do not want to. If you ever want to contact me in game my character name is Dustloop I am an elvan theif, planning to sub a warrior, then switch to ninja sub. Does that sound right? I have been reading alot today.

i can say from experience that echodragon is a really good social ls. I joined when i was new to the game (heh, i still am a noob) and the people there are very helpfull and fun to chat with. for a pearl i think you can talk to ryudoz, sophieq or rewind in-game.

Ah cool, I hope they don't bite my head off for asking them for help. I've come across lots of nasty users in most online games lol FFXI seems like a kind community tho :D
