Hey guys, Im back on FFXI again after a full year off. I was playing WoW for a little bit, but I got tired of it. So Im back playing FFXI starting all over again. I was wondering if there is anyone just starting up or is going to start up again ? If so I would like to know so I can create a Linkshell so we all can join and experience FFXI together. (Or if someone wants to level up their low level jobs?) I would like to have 10 or more people post me up to start a linkshell.

If you want to join the Linkshell, just reply to this post saying, " I want to join." Once they're at least 10 people I will reply, setting a Time and Date so we all can join together. By the way my name is Robert and I hope I can see lots of people willing to join the Linkshell.

I just recently started back to FFXI after a 6 month or so hiatus.
I joined Shiva b/c I have some IRL friends that I work with that play on this server.
I posted earlier on someone else's thread about starting a LS for those people that are new to Shiva, but not FFXI.
Since we are returning to the game, and as a slight nod to FFVI, I thought TheReturners would be kind of a cool name for it.
Ah well, let me know what ya think.
I'll be on this weekend leveling my BLM, just finally dinged level 10.

Hey ZephyrXofShiva that sounds like a good linkshell name, if we can get more people involved I would be more than willing to make the linkshell. This Linkshell is not just for (Noobs) if some experienced players want to join the Linkshell for whatever reason they are more than welcome to join also. :-) Because I personally don't know anything past Level 40+ range, so if some experienced players would want to join and help the Linkshell just post it up on this post.

Hola to you. I'm the guy that started the topic Zephyr mentioned when he brought up TheReturners LS idea. I think it'd be a really great linkshell, and if anyone reads this, I play as Kashayar, and I'm currently looking for a linkshell with a nice level spread.
If you guys can get TheReturners up and running, I'd be more than willing to join!

Well, it seems I have alot of time on my hands this weekend, aside from work.
I'm currently parked by the Bastok end of the Dunes as of right now,
so it shouldn't be hard to get over to Bastok this weekend and get started on TheReturners.
I'm also on Central Time Robzilla, so it shouldn't be too hard to meet up, barring IRL obligations.
Hit me up ingame, and lets see if we can get this off the ground.

Hey guys how is it going ? It's all good here. So how many people do we have willing to join our Linkshell ? I'm returning tonight after a little over a year off. Had a 75 SAM/60 PLD previously and would be interested in a LS of "experienced noobs" so to speak, as it would be nice to not have to be alone at first lol.

What we really need to do now is set a time and place to gather together, just so we can distribute pearls and create sackholders and such for those interested.
Depending on everyone's levels, we may need to make a tour of the starting cities of Vanadiel, or assign a "representative" or two for each city.
I'm currently working on wrapping up my first tour of duty in the dunes, so I can get to either sandy or bastok fairly easily, but I'm originally from windurst.
Feel free to drop a line here if you guys have any questions or feedback.

yeah, this sounds good. I've been playin FFXI since the release date on the ps2. I have it installed on my ps3. I'm an ex 61 rdm that's looking to start completely over. I've been thinking about it a lot and am Shiva homesick.

Yep, the LP is kind of a yellowish-orange color. Though I had imagined it to be more of a purple when I first started thinking about it. The yellow-orange kind of grew on me though.

I would like to join also! Experienced n00b starting over on Shiva. Used to have a Rank5 55RNG/NIN on Midgardsormr. I've experienced serious WoW burnout and am realy excited to be returning to FFXI =)

I'm actually coming back to the game today, I no longer have my main account but I will be coming back on my alt. account. I'm not sure what my lvls are, but I remember its an elvaan named Liath, lvl 30 or so mnk and 20nin I think. Anyway, most if not all my friends have moved on, so I will be having to start fresh myself.
