EVE Online is preparing to update its site to create a better front facing website. In the newest Dev Blog, CCP Alice spells out the plans for this new site. The goal of it is to have information about the various elements of EVE's universe, its gameplay, and community resources; all right at your fingertips. Features like an interactive star map, popular gameplay styles, and community spotlights are just a few of the sweeping changes CCP is looking to bring to the new site. 

So what comes next for the EVE community? CCP will be merging content where it makes sense; from other websites like Support, EVElopedia, EVE Gate, etc. into the EVE Community. They also want to make presentation and UI improvements across the site so that it feels like a more modern, well designed website.
