Cryptozoic's MMOTCG nears a staggering $1.9 million on Kickstarter

It seems that as soon as I sit down to write about HEX: Shards of Fate hitting a Kickstarter goal I should count to 10, refresh my browser and make sure it hasn't crushed another one.

At ZAM, we're awaiting the MMOTCG from Cryptozoic like a pride of lions stalking a juicy gazelle, and we're absolutely not alone.

As of right now, the Kickstarter campaign for HEX stands at, deep breath, $1,894,426 USD. This means its latest stretch goal of $1.8 million has been blown away and backers will receive a HEX novel, penned by a top-of-the-line fantasy writer. All backers at Squire level and above will get early access to the HEX alpha, be able to reserve their character names and get the early jump on guild creation.

There is still 48 hours to go for the campaign but if you can't back the project on Kickstarter, you can pledge with PayPal at HEXTCG's official site.
