The colossal $3.8 million Megaman-inspired Kickstarter shows off the latest gameplay.

We haven't talked much about Mighty No. 9, mostly because it's deep in development. According to this most recent shot of gameplay, the game is coming along well! Comcept is also doing a good job regularly updating Kickstarter backers, with dozens of posts and videos.

In an odd move, they've partnered with Digital Frontier to start production on an animated series. Coming mid-2016, the CGI series will have 26 x 22 min. episodes and target a 6-11 y.o. age group.

On the plus side, the trailer has a good sense of humor! Take a look for yourself:
