Hoarders do NOT spawn in same spot as the regular bloodguards. I had 4 Bloodguards and 3 Hoarders spawn at same time in that little room so I can promise you that.

The hoarders pop inbetween the bloodguard. So with full room pop of 7 no more easy single pulls you get 3 at least. If you keep the room clear though you can single pull the hoarders.

hoarders are great xp aobuot 3% AA per kill at 65, they are special like the treasurers (they drop 65pp and 6 gems/reg mob xp). just random in room after a reg mob is killed. have had them pop on first mob killed and up to last no diff just random

These are definately great exp, wish they would pop more. I clear the entire floor and even up to the warlord spawn before this room pops again, consistently, so I doubt there is a timer involved or these would pop everytime, unless they have a limit on the number of times they will spawn in a given period. I have yet to see the Treasurer spawn in over 50 hours of camping in the area...

Finally got the Treasurer to spawn, dropped 98 plat and 6 gems...

Team Secret (Saryn Server) was doing some research in the "treaserur/defender room" on the date that this is posted. 2 (a broken Skull bloodguard) was on the left side of the room in their spawn points. On the right side of the room it was empty, and the "treasurer" spawned right dab smack in the middle of the room up against the North wall. We pulled the "treasurer" and then "a broken skull hoarder" jumped us as an "add" but he was not there when we pulled the "treasurer". So maybe he spawned as soon as we pulled the "treasurer". This also clears up the issue posted in "hoarders" about room needing to be cleared in a certain amount of time, as where we had the left side of the room fully popped.

I have camped this room a few times in the last few days, and I'm starting to think there's a timer -- maybe you have to kill everything in the room within a certain amount of time to trigger the "special" repop with hoarders and/or a treasurer, and possibly the defender. A couple of times I have seen the room pop with hoarders (and both times I think the room was empty at the time); I have never seen the treasurer or defender.

Last night I killed the mob in the defender's spawn and then pulled some other mobs before clearing the rest of the room... this meant the pops were widely split, and none of the special mobs popped at all.

At this point it could just be coincidence, but some of the other LoY zones have this timed setup, where it seems to require clearing the area quickly to force a named to appear (like the Windscorn captain) - I think I'll go back and try to make a point of clearing the room quickly, and see if I have more luck.

Im beginning to think a Broken Skull Hoarder might be some kind of PH for the Treasurer. Reason for this theory is we killed one while treasure was up and he despawned. Anyone out there by chance know if this is true and had the same experience?

Actually I have hunted here for 3 nights. Me (57 cleric and my 55 warrior friend) It seems that randomly after a bloodgaurd is killed, the treasury room can be pop full of hoarders or I saw once where just a hoarder and a treasurer poped. I never actually killed them cause as they poped on my each time a stupid roamer walked up on me. I also think there is a timer on them. Each time they poofed about 5 min after popping. The hoarder was purely melee and hit for about 170.
