Ok it definitely not one to two hours. Killed him for weapon trial today. First spawn 60 minutes, second spawn 4 hours 30 minutes, and last spawn 65 minutes (lucky). So it is still probably a 1 to 7 hour pop window still.

Out of all the post I see ppl failing to mention that this is for the quest, The Miraculous Dale. Same with Black Triple Stars and quite a few other NMs.

Um... i think many of these people have never seen Drooling Daisy i just killed it and it DID check Impossible to Gauge, had never thought to /c it before lol. Screenshot available if you want to see it. and no drops at all XD. Has nothing to do with Simurgh, anyone whos played more then 2 months should know that. And no it has no special drops just a worthless NM that spawns by chance, higher drop rate then normal Ochu's on Dodge Headband i think is its only purpose.

Wow, so Rolanberry fields is home to two worthless NM's (other being Black Triple Stars). I've always wondered if these guys do actually drop anything maybe with a 1/1,000,000 droprate... doo dee doo dee dooooooooo o.O O.o

Black Triple Stars isn't "worthless", it's the only bat in Rolanberry that will drop Beastman's Blood.

Drooling Daisy is worthless though.

I've killed Drooling Daisy 25+ times now, the only items its ever dropped for me are the regular Ocho type drops (Malboro vine and Dodge Headband). Still, every time I see it I'll continue to kill it on the off chance that it drops something REALLY rare.

Just to let you know, while looking for my treasure chest for AF boots yesterday, I took a wrong turn and ended up here. I saw it, was a little unsure, so I checked Allakhazam and though, Ok, its easy then.

Started fight with Stoneskin Phalanx etc etc... Totally owned it (Had 0HP loss, and half MP because I nuked it). Then I noticed "Daniel receives 18 experience points"... I'm 50RDM

It was the easiest fight ever, but, the level is not 39-40, I imagine people would get owned at that level. So be carefull.

That is a completely stupid thought, if you think this is the placeholder for Simurgh. It definately isn't. My LS killed it 5 days in a row and have never once seen or killed the Drooling Daisy. He just a 21-24 hour pop from his TOD.
RE: Placeholder BS
# Feb 13 2005 at 9:39 PM Rating: Decent
This is VERY TRUE... this is NOT A PLACE HOLDER... It is also NOT 21-24 HR.... while camping Simurgh with LS we were killing malboro for tp when they popped.... within 3 hours of killing them this popped TWICE... we got 0 drops from Daisy both times we killed it. This does NOT indicate when Simurgh will spawn, and it is NOT a place holder! Atleast this is true as of 2/13/05

Drooling Daisy spawns around a lake at (D-11) of Rolanberry Fields, same place as Simurgh. Althgouh his drops are very common and under 5k(Dodge Headband) & a crystal), he is the place holder for Simurgh

Drop
# Jun 06 2004 at 2:52 AM Rating: Default
Even though I've killed this 3 times now with no good drop - I do agree. It must drop something good, regaurdless of how infrequently that drop is, or SE wouldn't have even bothered putting it in the game.

I think 98% of NM are for missions, quests, or drops - and the rest are, well NMs that drop something good that people don't want to say they got. The less people that know about it = the less competition they have camping it.

These NMs that supposedly dont drop anything good...most likely do drop something good. PPL just dont tell anyone so it doesnt become overcamped...like lizzie, emp, etc. SE wouldnt put a NM in that dropped nothing at all...unless its for a quest.

I think this is the case I have yet to see this one but I believe it does drop something Rare otherwise whats the point of it being a NM. I will make it a point to investigate it and see if I have luck with a different drop. Someone have the <pos> on it? post here please I would love to know
