Ive never fought this NM before, but various ppl in my LS have been discussing it, and we gonna try it soon....

Because I havnt fought it before - I have no odea what its defence is...

As a 75Mnk, taking off my weapon and fighting barefisted would keep my Dmg below 100, (might be ok with weapon on) but what happens when ppl hitting for 60-90Dmg do a Crit - does the bomb get biggerz?

Neat item, shame about the drop rate. Its not just the nm that has a low drop for this item the pop item for the nm is a ****** to get too!

Anyways... I saw a party of 4 do this with a rdm, brd, mnk and thf. They took it down with ease, but were plagued by the Heatwave move, which gives an AOE EVIL burn effect, seriously its a lot of hp per tick. So you will need Erase or you'll die.

After finally getting 1 pop item my ls decided to have a go. We had 9 people, which is a lot of people to erase, so we did it as follows

any ranged melees would stay back with the mages
Anyone likely to hit for more than 100 was taken out
No weaponskills over 100damage

The reason for the max damage of 100, was to stop it increasing in size. As soon as it starts to increase it will use heatwave. kept at its normal size it wont use it.

Take it down slowly until you get to 30%ish (depends how many people you have with you) then whack off all your ws's 2 hours etc to your hearts content.

Good luck!

I know some people think this item (Fire Bomblet) is the greatest thing since sliced bread, but come on! 30M (at the current EXTREMELY deflated prices) is just PURE INSANITY! On most servers, BOmb core is only 300K, so I ask... is trading 6 atk for 6 acc REALLY that great? At the level you can use this (70) 6 acc is practically NOTHING if you are using sushi already, and if you ARENT using sushi, 6 acc is NEVER gonna be enough of a difference to even notice! Hell, if I"m not eating sushi, I BARELY notice a diff with Ohat, hauberk, and Life belt (acc +30 total!). I know prices will fall for this, now that it is a force pop, but all I'd like to say is, if you can waste 30M on this (or anything CLOSE to it), you MUST be a gilbuyer... Because if you have the skill and resources to earn that kind of money with the market crash as it is, then you could EASILY go kill the NM and get it for "free", rather than waste ~30M!

at Lvl75, 6acc will increase your hit rate by around 3%.

This would be useless to you however if you already had an 80%(ish) hit rate and decided to eat Sole Sushi for example. As the Sole Sushi would take you up to the 95% cap, the extra acc on this would do nothing at all for you.

However, (other than haste/sushi builds) if you are going for an acc/meat build, an extra 6acc will take your 80% hit rate up to 83% - This is a nice increase and the best possible use to the slot it goes in.

this nm isn't forcepopped right? this is a time spawning NM? With firebomblet selling for so much I imagine this NM is very heavily botted.

We beat this guy with 3 ppl, 75 nin , 70 thf/nin and 69 whm (me on main char). The nin tanked while we healed and hasted him. The main thing we learned was that you need to pull the Big Bomb down away from where the lanterns pop, otherwise you will be fighting more mobs than you want to. Once we did this the firght was relatively easy , just took a long time. The real disappointment was that, despite the presence of the thf, we did not get the drop we were after (Fire Bomblet). ><
