Can anyone please supply quest details for j boots? I`m tired of asking for SoW continuously! Can`t find it under J for quests.

JBoots IS an easy quest.
You even get two choices of mob to hit. The higher level fixed spawn with PH version in OOT or the random spawn in South Ro. There are at least 3 easy camps of shadowed men on Antonica and the one carrying the rapier is visible as such.
Finding Hasten does require a tracker and a SoW unless you are incredibly lucky.
Of course you can always buy SoW potions in the bazaar for around 8pp each shot or go to SolA and spend 6k on TBoots.

The best price on T-Boots, if you have good faction and high charisma, is about 5250pp.

Hasten is easy to find without tracking. If you look at the map on EQ Atlas for Rathe mountains there is an area numbered 19. That is where the Hill Giants are hunted. Just below that is area 20. The small area between area 19 and 20 has a small path. If you sit on the north end of the path and look north Hasten and all of his place holders will run right into you. Just go to the spot look north and kill everything that comes to you until you see Hasten coming. Then you can target him and spam hail and he will stop right there so you dont even nee SoW.

Why would you want easy quest, doesn't that defeat the purpose of EQ?? I want challenge and fun..
Challenge? No i don't want the Challenge, i want the boots!
Im all for challenge and all. However problem with ALOT of Everquest quests is the challenge is to beat other players to the mob, or stay up hours on end camping a mob. My idea of Challenge is having what it takes to actually slay a mob.
This is why there is very few quests I do in game. The few quests I do attempt generally are the ones you don't have to find a heavily camped named mob.
Nine times out of ten if you go into OOT you will find somebody camping the AC. The one in South Ro isn't camped too much, but you could be there all day trying to spawn him and not ever do it. Now with that LDON camp in the zone you got people checking on it quite often now. Guess it could be different on your server, but I have played on two servers and both was the same on this camp.
