Question for Magelo Premium Service subscribers...Follow

I have really missed being able to update my Magelo account - be so glad when it comes back from the LD zone. My question is this: are the Premium Service people having any problems with their automatic updates? I should have got this service a long time ago. I was just wondering. The only thing I can do now is bring up my very outdated Magelo page.

Does anyone have an email addy for Magelo so I can check on progress and find out more about the Premium Service? Thanks for your help in advance :)

I am able to connect, but when I shut down EQ later, I get "unable to update" something about not being able to run the Magelo with my current version of EQ. Magelo, while a good concept, has crappy reliability, even as a premium member.

I am now a registered magelo user and have been having no problem updating lately.

At the moment, Magelo's working fine for me.

That said, I'm unlikely to renew my premium membership.

Positives:
  • As a registered member, the quality of the service is excellent. Play, synch - Et Voila! I have an up to date verified web page of my toon's kit

  • Jelan works his **** off to update the system as quickly as possible when SOE patch the server

  • But
  • There's a mismatch between the homesey personable 'Fan Based Site' that does the best it can, and the set fee that customers pay
  • When a patch renders the site OOA for a while there's no ETA, just a stream of 'Apologia' in the forum that 'We can't read SOE's mind about patches'

  • In summary,
  • Magelo has an awesome product, but it's dependent on external variables that it can not influence.

  • Those variables have become more variable in recent months
  • Magelo's value has diminished significantly with the frequency of patching
