I am sorry if the information is already common knowledge, but I was wondering if characters from the present version of everquest could be exported to everquest 2, (baldurs gate 1-2). I have heard about the "class tree" but I was just wondering because i have got quite attached to my Dark-Elf Necro.

There will be no character transfers, since EQ2 is a whole new breed of animal. No to mention, a different graphics engine too. You will however, be able to leave a "legacy" item that your EQ1 character can "pass down" to your new EQ2 character.
