Hello folks,
Its been almost a year and a half since i last played eq due to many reasons, mostly job hours and such. Coming back into the game about a month ago, just to see what significant changes had taken place in Norath, I found that towns such as Erudin (rarely populous to begin with) and Kaladim were completely empty of players. On the other hand, the plane of knowledge held at least 150 players ranging from 39 to 60.
I have never played as a power-leveler, simply not knowing the how or where to do so.
I had always enjoyed the exploration, questing, and storylines more than the leveling itself. Having eq 2 on the way though has brought back a pull to play the original again. I have been known to take a 5th lvl halfling with camo into Splitpaw for a Rodcet Nife kidnapped priest quest (and yep i got pretty far til finally someone spotted me) and taking a 9th level barb shaman all the way to the City of the Ice Dwarves of Velious,... on foot (sow'd of course). I liked playing scout.
So without *begging* for a power-level-trip, i find it hard to believe there is a place in everquest for a new character...
Most people playing eq, in my opinion, know what they are doing at this point and know just where to go and how to level fast.
***As a side note, i do not condone begging except as the in-game skill. If someone offers their help in leveling, that's something to enjoy and be thankful for but not to take advantage of.***
Am i correct that there is no real place for new low level characters in eq1, or are there actual low level players still in everquest to group with?
