The Compass of Khati ShaFollow

This is my quick question.

I don't quite understand how I am suppose to get this compass from the grimling high priest. He's an untargetable booger so i can't kill him. Mobs despawn in this zone as well(Acrylia Caverns). Is this zone bugged or something =(
