Hello again folks,

Stromm, my server, is currently down.
I had a couple of questions about the Roleplaying Server, since i have never played there and might like to give it a try.

1) Is it true that you can only have 1 character on FV?
2) In this roleplaying server, what groups might a Freeport human bard of veshaan find himself a part of? What types of groups would he not join?
3) As the same bard in question 2), what types of trouble might i find a challenge in the game?

On FV one character
No OOC's
Shouts are within I think 200yard distance
Not many people but its more fun because usually ya did it on yer own but after a while the lackage of people begins to get to ya.

"Shouts are within I think 200yard distance "

Shout was changed to zonewide in the May 8th 2002 patch.

If you want to play on FV you might want to check out the server message boards at.

As for roleplay it all depends on how you roleplay your character and how those whom you roleplay with roleplay. There really is no right or wrong answer.

Since the 8th may patch which did away with most of the restrictions about "alignment" in groups etc the server has a reasonably good population.

This has not been universally welcomed by the roleplaying community but what it does mean is that you are able to make your own restrictions according to your storyline. Just obviously be aware that they may not match what others expect of you.

Roleplaying guilds have varying restrictions. Some forbid grouping outside the old limits, others permit it but do not open guild events outside those limits.

One of the least mentioned but biggest differences is the bind restriction. All players are limited to the melee bind points. This means no binding the cleric outside the dungeon. PoK has reduced the impact of this but a run back from PoK, or even the wayfarer camp can make a big difference at the end of an adventure. Consider Kedge. On any other server you could bind outside, on FV your nearest bind is Kaladim, PoK or the BBM Wayfarer camp. For Sebilis it is PoK. Kael is great, it is a city and you can bind just inside - right where the train hits zone Smiley: smile.

Its an awesome server. The maturity level on FV seems much higher than the other server.

I figured I may as well put it into this post, rather than make a new thread, since this is fairly relevent.

On FV, is the population reasonable? I play Stromm, formerly Bertox, and does it in any way compare to those two?
