i am a LVL 16 human necro right now and wheen i am in a group, i alwas get the fullest argo right off the bat, even when im medding because of OOM, all the mobs gangbang me first and i die sooo quickly for doing nothing,,,why??
Maybe you should play your rouge, they are better at controlling argo.

There have been some reports of buggy agro in LDoN missions lately. That could be what's going on. I haven't seen this myself, but others have. If so, you're kinda stuck with it until it gets fixed.
In general though, if the puller/tank has firm agro, you shouldn't be getting it without doing anything. Always remember though that the base decision of who to attack by the mob is determined by a combination of level and physical weakness (AC/HP). If a group of same level folks are all just standing there and a mob wanders into camp, it will *always* attack the wimpy caster first.
How do you know your tank already has agro? If this is happening immediately upon the mob arriving in camp (you said "right off the bat"), then isn't it possible that the tank doesn't really have agro? Just because the mob is currently targetting on him doesn't mean the mob wont change targets when it sees someone juicy come in range. The tank/puller needs to do something beyond just standing there in order to get and keep agro. If he's just using proximity to get the mobs attention, it's virtually guaranteed that the second the mob runs up to the group, it'll make a beeline for the caster. This goes double if the tank is standing and you are sitting.
Do this: Make sure you are as far back along the pull path as possible. Sit at the back of the group, not the front. That way, your tank has more time to engage the mob (and build up agro) before it gets close enough to see you. Stand up on the INC call. You'll still get beat up on if the tank doesn't hit the mob first, but as long as the tank is tagging the mob (hitting it with something before it gets to the group), you shouldn't have any problems.

i forgot to mention after the tank does have good argo when i cast a small spell they still go after me

At 16 the necro won't be in LDoN, Gbaji. So whatever wierdness we have to put up with in there - which mostly seems to manifest as intense hatred of druids - won't be in play.
I am afraid that the responses so far make me think that anything we suggest will have been tried and dismissed. For example He says he gets agro even if he is medding, standing is suggested and lo and behold he isn't medding he is standing. I think you could suggest he stand on his head and whistle dixie and he would already have tried it.
It is highly unlikely to be a "server problem". I cannot believe that mobs on Stromm hate necros specifically. The game code to do that would be silly.
What interests me is if he "always" gets aggro and gets killed - how does he ever get to be OOM?
One thing that could cause this but has not been mentioned is health at the point of pull. Necros often get so caught up in the "Don't heal me I know what I'm doing" that they take themselves down to below 20% and then get blood agro. This tends to be slightly higher than 16 but they still have the tools. If you are below 20% then the mob is likely to go for you whatever you are doing and even if you don't attack it.

When I played a Rogue and went to LDoN in Mistmoore 3 times in a row sometimes the following happened:
Tank taunted bloodsucker with bow - 2 bloodsuckers and 1 other creep rush at us - but while the bloodsuckers gang up on the Tank (and my Rogue in the course) the 3rd mob passed us byand went for the casters.
So I assume if mob contol is bad and there are several triggered at once, some lone creep will NOT go for the one that triggered in the first place but "prey on the weak" as Gbaji stated.
So it was maybe a problem of how your group pulled, not some kill-necros-bug.

I think you guys are giving the poster too much credit. Do you guys even thing he is using /assist? not me. All he did is cast a little spell on a mob that the MT had no aggro on, why does he then come after me???? Why do I keep dying, use /assist. If you don't know what this means.
Select main tank, wait till he has pulled and has the mob stopped and has just started to beat on him, type /assist (make a hotkey even better). Then cast to your hearts content, when that mob is finished, do it again! Select the MT(use F2-F6 keys, F1 is you), then type /assist again and I promise you will never get aggro again.
I am in my mid 40's now, and you wouldn't believe how many people still don't know how to assist properly. Most people assist on the first mob, but as soon as the first mob dies everyone just clicks on the pile and start to attack.
I was grouping in DL a while back, My ranger was MT this warrior came along and he kept stealing agro from me even after I pulled with a Bow then snared, usually this is more than enough for me to keep aggro. He was taking a thrashing, he was slightly low level to be in DL. Finally I asked him, are you pushing you taunt button, and he said yes I am trying to train it, I didn't think it would matter. I said that is why you are getting hurt. He said "oh" I didn't think it mattered. Now how does someone not know they are getting aggro, after playing the game for 40 levels. Anyway, I bet my reputation that this poster is not assisting, even if he says he is.

there are things that get you really bad aggro- for example:
sitting,
nukes,
backstabs,
DOTs,
Slows,
healing someone that is being hit by a mob, when their aggro isnt that strong.
i have played a cleric and a druid quite often and i find that they both often get really bad aggro from healing, but most parties will have someone who can root or mezz whoever is hitting you. make a hotbutton saying something like "please help, i am being attacked", don't run around, and just hope that your party is decent enough to help you out.

I don't know if this was mentioned but its a fact I know all to well from my mage being the first toon I ever made. If you tell your pet to attack as soon as you see the mob that has been pulled, even when alittle damage is done to it sometimes, the mob will run past everything to whack you when your sitting. "Hmmm, but i need to med!" Well you can med all you want as long as you let the tank gather some aggro on the mob (pull aggro is not always enough, don't count on it). As long as you do that, you can be sitting the entire time it won't matter as long as 1 mob is pulled. Also, despite what I said, if your a pet class its always a good idea to stand before telling pet to attack, just to be sure, but if you hold off on telling pet to attack it usually doesn't matter.
