In game mapping?Follow

I am a brand new player to eq and I love it!!! However, I'm having trouble with my mapping system. It works fine in most places but in certain zones (NL, and Marus Seru) it seems to not work at all. Someone in the game told me I needed to download map files and install them. If this is the case could someone tell me where to get the files and how to go about getting them to work with the program. Oh and just incase it matters Im playing eq evolution.
