Controler v. KeyboardFollow

Hello all, this is my first post to the forums and I am a true newbie to EQ (pc). I played the ps2 version of this game for the last year and finally left because I viewed this game at a friends house and the content and size blew me away. I am definately addicted and I am having a blast.
However, I grew up a console player (only 24 years old here) and prefer to use ps2 version controllers in all games. I messed with FFXI and didn't much care for it, other than that it allowed you to configure a console controller to play on the pc. Is this option available for EQ? If so could someone please post how they did this. I have the converter and software for my ps2 controller/pc and it worked fine in FFXI. I am not much of a tech guy but any hints on how to do this would be much appreciated. Thanks....
