Answer to Thought of the DayFollow

They resell them to a mysterious caste of Warlocks who grant superior hand-to-hand combat abilities and incredible stamina in return....

...but there are other possible solutions maybe ;-)

PS: I spotted only one Vendor so far who carries something in his hand - a stick to be precise. Now this is either the only not on the warlocks-caste payroll or the REALLY dangerous one.....

If that's true they'd better produce studs, boning and rings of them as I do - they could increase their sales by a LOT

an my theory would at least explain why its easier to kill armed&armored guards than vendors ;-)
