Soon I plan to reformat my computer. The last time I did this, my friends list, window positions, maps, etc., were reset after I reinstalled EQ. This, of course, leads me to believe that these items (and possibly others) reside on my hard drive.
Does anyone have a quick reference I could use to determine what files on my hard drive I should save before I reformat?

go to the c: drive, program files, everquest then arrange the files by most recently modified files. Copy/save all the files that start with your char's names. and probably the eqclient file.
Those are the files i copy when I go over to someone else house to play on one of their computers. With the char_server files, and the ui_char_server files.
I am sure someone else that knows more can give more information, but I know those files are the ones I focus on.
