A Good Place To StartFollow

Stromm is still billed as the "newbie server", despite it being around a year old now and having its fair share of lvl 65s. But, from what I've heard, it's still one of the best places for a newbie to find groups and lowbie friendly guilds.

Keep in mind that, at low levels, guilds are more social than anything else. There's nothing wrong with that at all -- it's nice to have like level people to talk to and ask "Hey, does anyone want to go to Netherbian Lair with me?" As you get higher up in the game, the focus shifts more to raiding to some extent or another; either hard core raiding guilds or more casual guilds working on epics and lower end raid content. Either way, the friends you make in that lvl 15-30 guild may well be the ones helping you take down dragons for your epic pieces or gods for planar flags.
