Now what? I am on my usual home connection, same one that worked just fine 10 hours ago, and I am getting connection failure - check network connection. WTF? Is this another wonderful SOE cluster-f**k?

I'm not sure, I'm getting the same message as well. The server status page (well all of the EQ sub-domain) appears to be down as well.

It's kinda funny.... sorry everyone, it's my fault. Seems everytime I dont go to work, EQ doesnt work. Wonderful.

I'm also getting the "connect failure" message. Although, I was able to connect twice in the past hour, I was disconnected within a couple of minutes. Also can't get into Sony site or Legends page. I guess I'll do yard work instead of a GM event! LOL .

Whew, I was going to take the blame. Skipped work to play for a bit and of course it didn't work.

Add another. I stayed home, nobody around, a relaxing time for EQ. NOT!! Oh well.............maybe later.

If only there was a way to get info when it goes down like this...I can't imagine it'll come right back up, but who knows? My shaman just dinged 9 too and I was all excited to go buy my new spells. :(, d'oh

Gamepro,

Always seems to happen that way to me as well--everytime I'm able to sit down for a few hours of uninterupted gameplay, something's wrong w/the connexion on SOEs end.

Ok do this to bypass the patch server

Right click on desktop and create new SHORTCUT
Enter this in "C:\Program Files\EverQuest\eqgame.exe" patchme and click next
click next again
then double click your new shortcut.

Someone give this man all the plat in the world.

THANK YOU.

Off to EQ!

(Some may need to add \Sony\ before \EverQuest)

I am on the Drinal server and all donations can be given to Thedollarstore.

I was booted from the server. I'll try to bypass the patcher and see what happens.

But just for fun.

Quote SOE "4/6/2004 7:01 AM PDT (-7 UTC)
At this time, all servers are up and all systems are working as intended. Good luck and have fun."

Granted it's from yesterday, I find the phrase "working as intended" quite amusing.

Well it is "working as intended." They intend to deliver us a piece of **** product. :P

You've been unable to connect for the last 8 years? Maybe you should have someone look at that.
