Now that the tribute system has all of the values settled and some time has gone by, I was wanting to get some opinions on it. Do you use it? If so, what for (as it types of buffs you buy)? Also, can you now turn on and off the buffs whenever you like or is it still how it was before (tribute master turns it on)? Just wondering if it's worth the time and trouble......

I use tribute a lot. Bards have terrible mana regen (meditation skill caps at 10) and manasongs, the C line, necro twitching... none of that effects us. The only things that effect bardic mana regen are FT, AA's and tribute. FT3,4 or 5 can go a LONG way for a bard. It comes in handy for bard too if you don't want to be switching instruments in and out during your twist and you don't have a worn instrument mod of epic. My necro uses the HP regen one when I'm doing a lot of mana pumping. My ranger hasn't used it at all yet, but I'm sure I'll find a use for it eventually. I think it's great personally. The hardest part is keeping your tribute pool stocked. From what I hear, items with a lot of +resists will net you a decent amount of points vs. usual sell price though. As to how it works: you pull up the window (ALT+U) and click the "activate tribute" button. It works in 10 minute "blocks". It automatically takes the first 10 mins payment out of your tribute pool (think of it as a security deposit). You can turn it off any time before the 10 minutes ends, but you lose the rest of that "block". But, you can start it again when you need it, paying your security deposit again of course. If you have a group of them that you use often, it's really nice. If you want to change them all the time, it's a pain in the butt. But it was a pain in the but either way before, so I think it's a lot better then the way it was when it launched.

I use it. I wanted enduring breath available, but had other priorities for buying things in the bazaar, so I turned in a ton of Abysmal Sea fish for tribute points and ended up with 3000 points.

I accidentally bought a high-value item none of my characters could use. After crying for awhile, then failing to resell it, I decided to tribute it and got an absolute ton of points.

My warrior uses the AC buff and the regeneration currently. It helps - its nothing gigantic but it is helpful.

Tribute still requires using the tribute master, where you change your benefit loadout. So if you want enduring breath, I have to go to the tribute master to change that. You only use points when it is turned on, which can be done anywhere now.

I used to use it on Stubby all the time. Had the HP/AC ones going. Then he ran out of favor and I haven't put more back in. The HP one kinda lacks, but the AC is decent.

On Feen, (the little I use him now) I run the FT/Ext Range (and sometimes I turn on the Imp Damage). Helps a bit where I'm lacking FTwise and Focus Effect-wise.

I think my 31 Mage has the FT1 one going. I should check that (he's rarely played anymore either...Stubby taking up all my time)
