Monday morning, here... oops, it's already Tuesday

Thu: My first trip ever to Lavastorm Mountains! NEC/BST duo in the mid-20ies, we did pretty well, taking out a fire goblin camp. While medding, we got jumped two times by the Solusek Goblin Assassin, and both times he dropped the Thinly Woven Cord. Moreover, Molgo spawned two times, and again, both times we got the Burnished Mithril Earring!!!
Dinged 26. Perfect evening.

Fri-Sun: No EQ. Sat: U2 in concert in Vienna.

Mon: Bought the last missing spells for my Beastlord up to lvl 35.

Ding 62 this weekend!

I hit 62 & 63 this weekand and got 3 aa's. I kind of spent all weekand playing it was alot of fun.

Saturday: Was in a particularily chipper mood, so I decided to ruin it by going to the Warrens for some faction killing. Actually, even that didn't ruin it and in a few hours I was indifferent. ******* still woulndt give me the key to Paineel so I grabbed a Rogue and bought myself a ticket to a Hotzone. Did a few LDoNs later in the day.

Sunday: Bought some new HoT and Haste potions (christ, these are uber!!) and soloed the Hole entrance. Dinged 47. Was supposed to be a guild raid but due to lack of attendance it turned into a single group exploratory trip to Akheva, which was fun because it's one of the few zones I'd never seen. Got a few Ranger and SK spells to drop for some guildies, but ultimately died. Group went to Umbral and got a few more spells.

Monday: (woot, love the holiday weekends). Went to Hole with potions in pack to solo entrance. Dinged 48, 49, 50, 51. It was a good day to do the Hole, as there were few people there later in the afternoon. Started my epic and got some of the easy drops from Dreadlands & Permafrost.

Got into a few decent groups, dinged a few AAs, otherwise a pretty normal weekend.

Did win a roll on a shoulder piece that resulted in a relatively complex set of gear swapping. I've been hanging onto my old PoSky haste belt literally forever simply because I could never justify taking a haste item in a raid over it. But honestly, the stats on that belt really really suck. So, out of the blue, this shoulder piece drops with a 36% haste on it. Now, I'm wearing a pretty nice shoulder piece, with tons of AC, but a bit behind on stats. This one's more moderate in terms of AC, but it's got the haste, and about 100 more HPS, and +atk, and resists, and <list of better stuff>. So I swap it out for my old shoulders, then buy one of those pally only waist items (with the +atk, mana regen, and +bash and other nice stats).

End result is I'm down 10 raw AC and 5% haste, but I'm up 25 raw atk, a bit over 300HP, a gazillion stat points, resists, mana, and end (not that end really matters, but hey!), and I gained a point of mana regen (yay). The complex part was the various augments I had to remove and shuffle around to make it all worthwhile. Overall, I think it's a good trade, especially since I can now sell the old shoulders (I've seen them sell for 80-100k), and use that money to buy up bits I've been needing for some OOW teir stuff I've been working on.

So, a nice little bonus to an otherwise ordinary weekend. I've been meaning to "bite the bullet" and swap out that belt. Just never quite got the right item drop to make it worthwhile.
