Anyone take him down recently?

How hard is he, really? Could a group and a half (with some 70's mixed in) do it?

All I need to so is kill him and Ragefire, and my epic is complete.

Rally up, Audes!!

More information on the group makeup would help. I have done him with 2 groups pre ele gear. Once you get to him he isn't too bad anymore. Getting to him is the hard part.

Group would be upper 50s'/lower 60's.

62 Cleric
62 Rogue
59 Warrior
55 Enchanter
62 Mage
62 Ranger

And whoever else I can find. Where is Czae when I need him???

Maybe not, but might have a 59 druid to help.

Need to find us a chanter, and try to put together a group. Might ask for some help from the Firestormers..I'm sure Jiggidy would be up for some Chardook hunting!

You coming back to EQ Joph?

I dunno. Miss you crazy kids and my son is away for the summer. But I'd definately make myself available for some Chardok.

Of course, Jiggidy would make me somewhat irrelevant Smiley: laugh Could bring the rogue in that case. Never have too much DPS.

Frak...there's another 62 cleric who can go that has experience in Chardok.

My necro, unfortunately, is trying to *raise* Chardok faction.

I should mention, Dotska (as well as Debalic's Necro) can walk through Chardok unmolested if you need scoutage...

heck just kill yer group at entrance and have someone non-kos drag em down.

That does not work unless you are invisible. My cleric cons dubious in Kael. When I tried to drag a guildie's corpse to the entrance for a rez, I was promptly attacked by the Giants. Yes, the same giants who were dubious (not the KoS ones on King faction).

Maybe it is just in Kael but I wont try dragging KoS corpses with non-KoS characters anytime soon (unless invisible).

The Kael thing is a Velious-style response to dragging intended to prevent skipping the faction progression. Dragging in a Kunark zone won't have the same effect.

The inside chatter almost gave me an anurism. The link is to a place that hosts free forums. Please do every one that's not in your little circle a small service by not making us read private conversations.

One thing you're missing is that that guild, Aude Sapere, was formed by regulars to this forum. Most of the members are regulars to this forum. Most of them were posting here about AS long before you started spouting out your little opinions on everything that nobody wants to hear. I'm not in AS, but if they ever post that they need some help here, I'm on it. Now that you know what the topic is about, feel free to skip over it for now on and not read it. Thank you, drive through.

As for helping with Overking, if I'm on, I'm more then willing. I haven't been on EQ for about 2 weeks now... been playing Battlefield 2. It's fun, but the promise of progression isn't all it was cut out to be. I'll probably patch EQ tonight and get back on. I can bring the bard if you'd like, or the necro, but she's still only level 54. Either way is fine with me.

The group you listed abouve has a chance of takeing the king. Reinforcements would be better as its a royal pain getting to him. Good luck and let us know how it went.

If you don't want to read their cozy chat, no one's forcing you.

As for the King - he's a piece of cake. Getting down there and handling the adds is the only problem.

If you don't have a non-KOS mage and a rogue to slip down there and CoH you down, the second option is to have a non-KOS druid pull him to the zone out. DoT him, Egress, chill at the zone. When the DoT hits him he re-aggroes, but if the druid isn't KOS he doesn't bring adds. Good times. You can try it with a necro or shaman being CoH'd back to the zone but I believe their DoTs don't last long enough.

Finally, of course, you can fight your way down old school. You need to have a rogue for the locked doors if you do anything but the non-KOS druid thing (druid can just fall through the library floor right into the king's lap).
