Pretty good equipment for level 40...trouble is I am almost 60. Major upgrading tips please.

My rogue had a lot of the gear yours is wearing, Joph. The problem is that she was close to 60 by then ;-)

I've got some ornate banked for the break into 55 whenever I get around to that. I'm fairly happy with her gear for her level, though. Now I just need to hit lvl 70 and get your stuff 
My bard is still dressed in an assortment of Skyshrine quest plate, an LDoN plate BP and some other embarassing bits and bobs. I had kind of set her aside except for farming and soloing though waiting for the Aude Sapere folk to catch up. Now that we've got people lvl 62+, it might be time to look over her gear and start getting serious about it.

Goal's a visual thinker and can't work without the little pictures
I was slightly suprised you had no Clicky Poison Pants but I imagine the stats probably don't compare.

Actually, the issue is that I cannot find the pattern in the bazaar, and the two times we killed the sandgiant named in BoT he didn't drop a pattern. I really would like a pair of them being that I already have my GMAS. I also would really like to take a trip out to Ssra to try to get my hands on a A Dusty Soriz Worker Pouch

Anyway, on to your rogue.
Move the Ragebringer to offhand, and put the Trueborn in main.
Ranged is allright, although it lacks Stamina and HPs. Maybe look for a bow?
Neck is fine, so are your earrings, rings, and wrists (ornate will make a nice upgrade once you get those patterns). I see you KS'd an orc in Greater Fay, as your waist is rather uber compared to the rest of your gear ;-) Cape is neat, too. BP is a good one, and hard to upgrade at your level.
Overall, your gear is pretty nice. Some items are low-ish on hitpoints and stamina, and you could use more worn ATK, although I know that is hard to find. (Maybe the Rujark Goblin Idol from the Ldon missions, to improve your ranged.)
Look for a clickie haste item, too. Stanos gloves, Eyepatch, etc.
Shoulders and Arms need to be looked at. (Though, I admit, a ***** to upgrade)

Yelp, I od have the gimped time flag (85 into time and got the priv. of looting in Tier 3)... Now my guild is there about 2 times a week, although VZ keeps kicking our butts (we will get him next time, I hope)...
