I haven't done many, don't really enjoy them however there are two spells that my Ranger could use and one has very low point value.
Question is, do I have to get my points in the specific zone of the spell or can get points in any zone and then go buy it in the one that has it listed or.....do all zones have the same list on the merchant.

You have to earn the points at the camp you want to spend them at.

Or at least "unlocked" that many points in that theme.
For example if you had previously earned say 500 points in a MM theme and you have already spent the points, then any points you earn in other Themes can be spent in the MM theme up to 500 points. If that makes sense.

You can only spend up to the number of points you have earned in the the current zone. Lets say you have 2000 LDON points in EF (650) MM (500) and NR (850). You could spend the entire 2000 points in MM but nothing could cost over 500 points per item.
you would have to at least done the cost of the spell in that camp. but the next time you want something from that camp you can earn it elsewhere because it is unlocked
If you gain 1492 for the armor in one camp (can't remember offhand which camp is the good paladin gear), and gain 1492 in another, you can spend those points anywhere.
