That would make sense if the person was actually wanting to ask a question. I'm going with one of the following:
1. It's a sock, seeking to stir up responses.
2. He's not asking a question, but for "help". Most likely of the "how much cash/loot/goodies can you give me", or "follow me around and kill these mobs I need to kill for a quest".
