As I have mentioned b4 I came back to EQ after a Hiatus. And since college I basically have no short term memory left... So I went back and started search for EQ ranger sites ( I play a ranger), and for information. I am super surprised that most of the information out there is so woefully out of date it is not funny. Here comes my rant....
1. If you start a website for a particular EQ class DAMMNIT be commited. don't just leave it up and have no info for the last 4 years. And if you do decide you don't have time to continue please shut down the site.
2. Have real info...I don't care about stupid crap like how to make dyes for armor....don't need to anymore thanks to prismatic.
Do realize that most of this rant is somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but I feel better for having said it. Thank you in advance for taking the time to read it.

Youch sorry to have upset you.
Lol. Information on the internet rarely actually disappears, or even gets updated. It's up to you to find the most recent info and sites. If you want to know what's current, the best way to go about it is to ask on a forum like this one. Odds are someone can point you to the most updated information.
Although there is one aspect of this rant that I do agree with, but not specifically with regard to EQ. It does bug the hell out of me when people don't put dates on their pages on the internet. If you write an article or guide (to be game specific), put a darn date on it so we can know how old it is.
This site is pretty good about that though.

Seriously, the best Ranger site on the net, IMHO, is Eqrangers.com. The people there are friendly and helpful. It is a thriving community that even recovered from hackers that destroyed our database.
Surely you couldn't have looked to hard. Secondly, would you be interested in making and keeping a class site for EQ up to date? It's not as easy as it seems. Alot of folks contribute to eqrangers and if it isn't stickied somewhere, all you have to do is ask.

With EQ being as mature of a game as it is try searcing forums for the information you are looking for. New information to you may be several years old depending on the expansion.
And your right death to all out of date web sites. Peaple may have moved on and left their out of date web sites up for what ever reason. Find one that is still being kept up. Maybe the person runing the website is on an EQ hiatus.
Also the comment about dyes hmm if you are a trade skiller that post is important to you where as a dps charts makes a good paper airplane. There are many options and avenues in EQ to take and keep one's interest and we don't all follow the same path.
