ok first off i'm on cazic thule server and since this is a world event things could look differently i think cause our server's people don't like to work together if we can avoid it (appearently we all solo and don't care about what drops come from the war cause you can't sell them...)

but as far as i see on our server the war in gfay between elves and orcs have passed the army in EC has moved to north ro, gukta's forces have appeared in feerrott, halas and the barbarian army have appeared outside both sides of black burrow, and gfay is still up in arms.

now what this is all about is if different things are happening or you have expierenced the next event this thread is to talk about it and try to let some of us to know whats going to happen next.

anywayz if you got something to add to armies moving from zone to zone or what zone they'll be fighting in that'd be awesome.

take care and hope everyone (including myself)gets something good out of this war.

Ogres are also preparing for war in Feerot.

I am hoping that this laborious process is SOE's way of lulling us to sleep. I suspect the developers will throw us one or two curveballs in the next day or so, (i.e. kyv sightings in oasis of Marr, etc.).

So far, I have found this live event to be rather dead. The new sleeper in EQ is the player population. Please wake me up, SOE!

Barb army is now in RM at LR zone line. Looks like we could have a battle in RM this weekend.

Well we can already be pretty sure about who's going to win this war. The goodies!!! Think about it, per Illia's, the Elven armies in GFay are all level 65 (A Paladin, A Ranger, An Enchanter), whereas the DE/Troll armies are all level 60 (A Necromancer, A Shaman, A Warrior). Don't know the levels of the Barbarian or Ogre army, hasn't been posted in Illia's yet. But so far the goodies have a major advantage. I just keep hoping that the Trolls get their home back, they're not happy in Neriak and to be totally honest, the Dark Elves aren't exactly jumping for joy and doing cartwheels about them being there...but they are our guests and for the moment at least...our allies.

I hope they send all you baddins to a new world maybe call it haties or hell or cleveland somethin nasty like that. And allow us good god fearin folks to fight the good fight. May all great drops be Paladin/Cleric only mana regen stuff.

well from the looks of it several different places could fight all at once which would not be cool...

I thought the whole point of this war was to link eq to eq2. Part of the continuing storyline and all. If you play/played eq2 at all, you can figure out what happens in the end :)

well i have played eq2 so i do know whats going to happen to the races and stuff the problem is eq2 never said when and where just what happened...

Anyone have a good synopsis of what has happened so far? I realize it may be different on different servers. I was only able to witness the battle in GFay last week but there seems to be a progression to other zones now.

I have just a tiny piece of the story to add from doing the war supplier quest for Halas. The Barbarians think the Frogloks are threatened by the Trolls, so the Barbarians have entered as allies to the Frogloks. Though, I don't know if they have any relationship to the other good races in the alliance, and I'm not sure if the Barbarians have been in the war from the beginning.

The supplier also told me the Barbarians are scouting the Karanas and implied they might try to defend the bridges there.
