Someone on FV is duping gear.
Yeah, I know that sounds improbable, but besides a ******* of anecdotal evidence towards it, we just got gm confirmation.
the best part? He gets to keep a ton of mpg raid and higher loot, because outsourced gms are too incompetant to 'verify' it's duped.

Almost. A lot of gear that is NO TRADE on other servers isnt tagged that way on FV. There are exceptions.

thats the wonderous thing about duping, you make something out of nothing. he claims he made 300k, it's probably somewhere in between. he can create 100k plat ($20-25 selling to a reseller) in literally 20 seconds. my info comes from knowing how much he's duped. tacvi/anguish items can clear $700 a pop on FV, and hes not just doing this on fv.

bag + bag + nocheck offset = multiple lore items. I got confirmation ingame from GM-Admin Arryu that his items were "not legitimately obtained.

U die and have a dupe corpse trick ive heard, and on FV that would be worth loads if done off a top end toon. Not sure how u dupe a corpse but ive heard it happens.

I would guess that it has something to do with trading with alts if the gear is lore and somehow the first toon gets to keep one too.
These are the worst kind of exploits and should this needs to stopped before the game becomes like diablo.

Well with dupe corpse having all items on them, you'd loot one then offload them to an alt and then loot second corpse. So double your gear for nowt.
On a side note im pissed off at seeing high end guilds bump starting from their wipes using the MGB trick with cleric divine rez or watching clerics soloing RS named with 30 plus hammers.

I've made around 25k selling plat in the last ~10 months. Yeah, yeah, I am evil, I sell plat. you can look on any reseller's site to see plat prices. I've paid up to 3000 USD for a high end firiona vie character, which I then sold for around 5.5. before the recent slump, it was -easy- to clear $700, I'm kind of confused about why you think platsellers cant make that much money. I've made 25k in ten months, just reselling, imagine how much you could do when you can create items.
I'm too lazy to take a screenshot, you might find someone else with one, but here's another little bit. Two months ago, every reseller was buying platinum, as much as they could get. I thought something was up before today, talked to some of them, they are having never before seen people coming to them with massive amounts of plat. Oh, and anyone who pays attention to PA - remember SirValient popping up for a few weeks with massive plat on every server, cheap? one and the same.

Pfunk: Simply put, no offense, but I am more likely to listen to and believe what Groogle / Czaemon says pretty much over ANYONE on this board, including a lot of the other Sages.

I can tell you that there are a few vendors that always seem to have one of just about every *drool* high end item. I always wondered how they restocked.
