EQ ReturnFollow

#1 Aug 11 2005 at 12:11 PM Rating: Decent
I am going to return to EQ after a long hiatus (taking advantage of the 21-day reactivation deal.) I want to start over from scratch with a new toon. While I don't want to powerlevel or twink my character at all, I do know I will need to eventually land in a guild.

Does anyone have any suggestions for a server to start on? Also, is anyone in a guild or know of a guild that a) raids somewhat frequently and b) accept new players? I realize that this might be a tall order, but I have always wanted to get into a good guild that actually raids. I have a lvl 53 paladin on The Rathe server, but haven't had much luck there in the past getting into a good guild to raid with. This is the main reason I quit in the first place. With the renewal offer, I thought I might try my luck on a different server.

I have the expanisions up through LDON. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Maelin Starpyre is a prefered server so I think that means we have one of the higher populations, but not sure.

I do know I have been seeing quite alot of low levels lately, whether they are Alts or noobs I couldnt say.

Email I got from SOE...

Hot Days of Summer

The pavement is melting, the grass is brittle, and every living thing with an ounce of sense is lying low where it’s cool. But this summer you can still enjoy the great outdoors without suffering the blistering heat and slathering on SPF 5000—get into the great indoors with EverQuest®!

We’ve reactivated your closed EverQuest account so you can play EverQuest again for FREE for up to 21 days! Just log in to reactivate your account and get back into the adventure while keeping cool. Your characters and equipment are here, just as you left them**.

Coming Back Is Easy!

The 21-day FREE service period begins when you log in and continues for 21 consecutive days, but to take advantage of this limited time offer you must log in before 11:59 P.M. (PST) October 31, 2005. Please remember that when your 21-day free service period expires or is terminated, your account will not remain active without you entering valid payment information to re-activate billing. This offer is not available for Station accounts that currently have an active EverQuest subscription or Station Accessâ„¢ subscription or for EverQuest or Station Access accounts that were terminated by SOE.

If you have an old account I would recommend using it for the Veteran rewards program incase you thought about starting a new account. First reward for 1 year is a 30 minute double exp reward useable every 24 hours.
