A guildie gave me a 10 dose gate potion with 3 doses left. That is like a 900pp gift. So I have been carrying it around for three weeks. I still never seam to have much money. and always seem to look at the dollar value of everything. Last night I went back to Lower Guk. ( see post "Short Rant" this forum) I am after Phos Pwdr for DoN Armor Quest, and couldn't find anyone to join me. So was trying to get to bottom and find a safe spot to pull. I was sootheing all the mobs on my way in I get to the cross road where the gargoyles and ghouls are to the right and left respectfully. I soothe everything I can see there are two wizards (that I see) these guys are the toughest for a solo Pal because of there nuke. But If I can withstand the 3 nukes they have. Then its a push over. I desided to take the wizies first and try to pull one at a time. my plan is to use a heal over time potion and start healing myself and let the wiz nuke me till he runs out of mana. I cast cease on the wiz and pull him and two warrior ghouls. This is boderline so I cast cancel magic on the wiz, stun. Then I root the warriors and back into the hall to take the onslot of the wiz this goes as expected and I am at 25% when he runs out of Mana. At the same time the root breaks I heal till I am about 65% and start slashing and bashing. I dispatch the wiz and am working on the first wartrior when I pick up a roamer add. (This is where this post is really headed.) If I dont Gate I know I am going to die it will be a while but I don't have enough mana to kill these three or run thru the mobs I have to soothe to get out. Here is my delima. Do I gate 300pp reload potions 70pp or do I die, buy a soulstone 56pp. Get rez maybe Free at worst 100pp re load potions 70pp Dieing saves me at least 150pp and cost me like 1/2 a mob of xp with 96% REZ. Is there some thing I am missing. Remember I am Soloing I know in a group, saving my life might save others. Opinions and flames welcome.

Since you said that PP is tight for you, I would save the gate potions for those instances that you really, really need to get back to your bind point alive.

Actually, the corpse summoner made travel easier for non-casting classes. For example, yesterday I was in the Hole with a group as my rogue. We fought our way to the bottom of the Hole to the Guardian of the Seals location. Couple people went LD, a couple others logged for dinner. Before the corpse summoner, I would have been stuck and would have to try to run back to the OZ and find a necro to summon my corpse, and find a cleric to rez me or eat the exp. Now, I just ran to the first mob I found, let it kill me, summoned my corpse, and got a rez (since there always seems to be a cleric in the guild hall). Travel made easy.

Gate or try to. Ok now that said when you get to your last Gate Potion you can sell it to a Vendor for some very good Plat 5 dose gate pots sell back for around 900p and I think a 10 dose sells back for 1800p. Take that money and work on potery need to get it to around 120 which may cost you 100p. Talk to Tanik Greskil she runs the shop accross from the Palidins Guild say What Velium Vapors. She will give you a velium purifer, and tell you how to make "Vial of Velium Vapors", a single dose gate to Thurgadin. This is from the Blessed Prayer Shawl quest, 4th part. Everything ( 1 small brick Velium 2 peices of velium, and 3 Crystllein Silks) can be farmed in Crystal Caverns, and the potery vendor 2 glass shards an HQ firing sheet and a sketch.
