how much xp do you lose when you are playing in a spirit shroud?
Is it the same as if your main died? That seems unfair if you are level 70 playing a level 5 shroud and only getting xp at a level 5 rate.

You lose xp at the same rate you gain. As you said, if you are level 70 playing a level 5 shroud and getting xp at a level 5 rate, you also only lose xp at a level 5 rate. I imagine less than .00000001%. I am working on a Fairy shroud and I often take a level 10 version and do suicide xp runs in The Warrens. Its good xp and I die alot but it is fun. My lv 70 main does not notice any of it, the xp gains or deaths.

You will gain exp at the rate of the level you chose your shroud to be, if you chose level 5, then the experience earned to your regular character will be that at the pace of level 5, you wont notice ANY changes unless you kill more mobs than can possibly even be considered funny. The whole point of getting to change the level of the shroud was so you could group with lower level people. As a level 30 shroud killing in netherbian lair, my level 66 toon would get 1% AA every 8ish kills.

i guess this could have some use for PLing your friend. say he is lvl 20 and you are 70 you could make a shroud that is level 30 and tear it up with him and get him a lot of xp.
