LFG problemsFollow

I for one have a 70 cleric on Dro/Xev... Freakster LDONqueen.(This may take awhile since there is a patch, so I am grabbing a beer)

When I am ready to rock EQ's world... I log on and usually within minutes I get several tells for groups or at least buffs. To find a group I do the following:
1) /gu the Freak lfg... anyone need me? --No Luck move to 2 8D
2) /lfg I look for a tank first... then a slower... then a puller if I am unable to pull camp... then snarer/dps. --If I fail to get a slower or tank I move to 3.
3) /who all 70 warrior (or pally or sk). If this doesnt get me a tank I lower the level a few notches. --If I stil am missing tank or slower... goto 4
4) If I am trying to get a Trial group or anything mpg+ and am unable to get a tank or slower... I usually decide to do a lessor zone... perhaps a Don... If that doesnt pan out... maybe a LDON.
5) /who all 60 70 shaman or tank can usually get you enough for a LDON or 2.

Now on Dro/Xev... if you are not level 70, you are usually sitting lfg forever. When I make groups... and I usually make 99% of the groups I am in I always try to include a few 65+ peeps. Sometimes I do Ldons and powerlevel peeps who are level 60 to 64. Yes the EXP sucks ******* but I enjoy helping others and can pretty much solo a Ldon if need be lol.

I use to be in a family, raid when they got the numbers guild. They did everything... even Rss groups which usually meant several wipes where I had to run back for rezzes. I have recently moved to a raiding guild where 75% of the peeps will not even think of doining anything less then a MPG Trial or a nest don. How sad. But a few peeps will join or always ask if I'm gonna do more Ldons today.

The other day I had a full group for a Fear Trial and just needed a tank... I made the mistake of asking a Europa tank who was lfg. He sent me a tell back, why would I need to do a trial... Nothing drops there I can use and no exp. I gleefully replied... cause you could help a group of peeps you never played with before and do something besides LFG. He replied "No thanks!" How sad.

I recently tried playing a shroud with a r/l buddy of mine... but I dreaded it... Infact I dread playing any alts now. I think this is EQs biggest problem... is that so many people have broken their cherries on their mains and wont even start another toon.

I still goto PC and pull both camps to a group and powerlevel them from time to time... even if its strangers I dont know. I think that EQs numbers are seriously hurting and they need to merge the remaining servers into 1.

Every day I look for old friends and cant find them. Or Ill see a peep I use to LDON with and send them a tell and they ignore me or they have become a EBay'er. I dont mind bots as much. Infact I have access to about 10 accounts I sometimes bot... I use to 3box on 1 cpu with a Radeon 9200 until it decided I shouldnt do that... Infact in the last few weeks it has decided I shouldnt even 2 box. Maybe the time is coming when it wont even allow me to play eq.........

The worst thing about EQ is that no one can join in now. Unless they just buy an account or 2. There is no fresh blood. Hardly any new players. I got a friend to join right before DON came out. He loved the game. I asked him why his 26th level beasty was still 26 after 3 weeks... and he said the was helping guildies... and also tradeskilling... ... Now he is level 56. And can never find groups outside his guild. I try to powerlevel him from time to time.... all he has to do is hit level 60 so we can LDON lol...

Oh well beer #2 jsut died... gonna call it a night.. and damm u SOE for shutting down the servers 10 minutes after I logged on today. Hope this gave you something to ponder...

I am sorry friend, most people will stop reading your post after these first two early comments.

Nobody will listen to a level 70 Cleric talking about how enjoyable Everquest is because finding groups is so easy even if this is not the point of your post. I did read your post and it was enjoyable by the way.
