What sells, what doesn't sellFollow

#1 Oct 22 2005 at 6:10 AM Rating: Decent
Does anyone have any feedback or a helpful URL that would give me a list of high-demand items to sell in bazaar? THX!

This doesn't tell you exactly what the best sellers are - but you can look at prices across all servers and search for /baz items to see if you're getting a good deal.

Premium members will get more features. But anyone can do a basic search for prices.

Just my observations on the current economy after watching it for 6 years.

Gear with recommended/required levels does not sell well.

"Twink" gear, or gear without recommended/required levels sells.
The Kunark/Velious/Luclin drop only level 50-60 spells sell well.
Tradeskill items sell.
DoN Crystals still sell.

Bazaar tips can be handy for people who are setting up shop. It's not like he asked where to farm plat.

Rule #1 is the bazaar economy is very server dependent.

Also the market is very fluid and some things sell well at times then not at all. Other things will sit in inventory for weeks until finally bought. Patience is key. And know your market (server's levels). You wont sell a whole lot of minor stat items if the population (mains) is mostly above level 50.

What YOU want is a consistant (easily obtainable) seller and those are few. Reyla has a nice list above.

I've had some luck farming drop spells in Skyfire and burning woods most of the spells sold for 1-5k so spells are a good selling item

This forum must have two zillion threads on this particular issue. Asking, no requiring, the OP to browse previous posts on the SAME TOPIC in the SAME FORUM before (s)he deserves a reply is hardly incongruous with being a (generally) helpful person.

last night shopping before the patch I was able to buy 3 coeterie general boots for 113 plat. Will resell in bazaar for 613 or even 800 p. Found 20 acrylia bp for 194 p. they donate for 1340 points in tribute, and most went for that. I will save 2 to sell at 895 p. Merchant mining can be a way of life for some, for me it is a hobby.

Reyla pretty much covered it.

additional: if you want to know what is in demand, just do a /buyer in baz. mostly the stuff those guys buy is stuff which you can sell fast. things like bazu blood, magnetic stuff, metallic scales etc.

also, certain items with focus effects and mana/HP regen. but again, that varies...

have fun :)
